S4E Offers – Terms & Conditions

Effective from: 17 September 2025
Applies to all bookings for the 2025/26 academic year and beyond.

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of all promotional offers and booking discounts (the “Offers”) provided by S4E. By participating in any Offer, the customer agrees to be bound by the following terms.

1. General Terms Applicable to All Offers

1.1 Eligibility

  • Offers are available to UK-based schools, educational trusts, youth clubs, and community groups.
  • Offers do not apply to private parties, events, or individual family bookings unless explicitly stated.
  • Offers apply to standard S4E programmes only, including WonderDome (WD), Animal Club (AC) and Science Squad (SS), unless otherwise specified.

1.2 Booking Conditions

  • Only one discount Offer may be applied per booking, with the exception of the Price Freeze, which may be used in conjunction with one other discount.
  • Offers must be selected at the time of enquiry via the official booking form. Offers cannot be added or changed after confirmation.
  • Bookings must be made via the official S4E booking process via one of the experience websites, including all required contact and organisation details.
  • All Offers are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time at the discretion of S4E.

1.3 Exclusions

  • Offers cannot be backdated or applied retrospectively to previous bookings.
  • Discounts cannot be exchanged for cash, credits, or transferred to another organisation.
  • Offers are non-transferable and may only be used by the organisation to which they were originally issued.
  • Offers do not apply to any additional charges incurred (e.g. transport, hotel charges, additional services outside the core package).

2. Offer-Specific Terms

2.1 Price Freeze

Offer: Book within 28 days of your visit and pay the current academic year’s pricing for your next booking in the following academic year.

Inclusions:

  • Applies to all standard S4E programmes (WonderDome, Animal Club and Science Squad).
  • Can be combined with one other discount offer (e.g. Science Bundle, Trust Discount, Share & Save Offer).

Exclusions:

  • Only valid if the new booking is for the next academic year.
  • Booking must be confirmed within 14 calendar days of the visit date.
  • Does not apply to changes made after the 14-day window.

2.2 Science Bundle

Offer: Book any combination of a WonderDome (WD), Animal Club (AC) & Science Squad (SS) experience in the same academic year and receive 5% off the total cost.

Inclusions:

  • Applies to combined or separate bookings as long as both fall within the same academic year.

Exclusions:

  • Cannot be used with any other discount offer.
  • Discount is forfeited if one of the bookings is cancelled or rescheduled into another year.

2.3 Trust / Group Discount

Offer: When two or more schools or groups from the same Trust, club, or organisation book an S4E experience in the same academic year, each party receives a 10% discount.

Inclusions:

  • Applies to bookings made by distinct schools or groups (not repeat bookings by the same school).
  • Bookings can be made separately but must all be confirmed within the same academic year.

Exclusions:

  • Cannot be combined with any other discount.
  • Offer becomes void if fewer than two eligible organisations complete their bookings.
  • Trust/group affiliation must be verifiable upon request.

2.4 Share & Save Offer

Offer: Recommend S4E to another school or group. They receive 5% off their first booking. Once they’ve booked, you receive 5% off your next booking (valid for 12 months).

Inclusions:

  • Applies only to new customers (organisations that have not booked within the past 24 months).
  • Your discount is applied to a future booking, which must be made within 12 months of your referral’s booking.
  • Discounts can be claimed via the booking form by naming the referrer.

Exclusions:

  • Only one referring organisation may claim a discount per new customer.
  • Cannot be combined with any other discount offer.
  • Offer is not valid if the referrer’s own booking has already occurred before the referred booking is confirmed.

3. Abuse Prevention & Reasonable Use Policy

To ensure fair use and prevent misuse, S4E reserves the right to:

  • Request verification of eligibility for Trust/Group discounts or Share Offers.
  • Audit referral claims to confirm authenticity.
  • Reject or revoke discounts where fraudulent, duplicate, or non-compliant entries are identified.
  • Limit participation in offers if patterns suggest strategic overuse by the same institution under different names or sub-groups.

Any organisation found intentionally misusing offers may be disqualified from future promotions and may have existing discounts rescinded.

4. Changes & Cancellations

  • If a booking made under a discount is cancelled or significantly amended, the offer may become void.
  • Where one booking in a bundled or group deal is cancelled, the remaining bookings may lose their eligibility for the original discount.
  • Refunds will be processed based on the adjusted final booking cost, not the originally discounted amount.
